Tonight, the Awaken community will gather to beg God to change us and to use us to change our city. It's been said and history tells us that every great move of God begins with people praying...read the first several chapters of Acts and see how many times the believers gathered together to pray. Our great desire is that Columbia would be transformed by the power of the gospel, which means that the gospel must transform us first.
We believe that as we get honest with God about our idolatry, selfishness, and apathy, and beg Him to change us, that He will. And as He changes us, He will help us see Columbia the way He does and respond to what we see the way He does.
If you believe God wants a better Columbia, that He is already at work to bring it about, and that He wants to change us so that we can be His hands and feet, then come join us tonight at 6:00 pm at North Point Church on Brickyard Road in Northeast Columbia.
If you can't join us, then we welcome your prayers for a move of God in Columbia and that the Awaken community might be a part of that move.
